Ceejay Xiong

Hello!

I'm Ceejay, a Software Engineer based in Chicago and Bangkok.

About Me

I am an experienced Software Engineer who enjoys spotting emerging trends early and building tools around them. I work primarily with Next.js, Tailwind, and JavaScript/TypeScript, and I also have experience with Solidity and blockchain systems. My background goes beyond engineering, as I've worked as a marketer and entrepreneur in fast-paced startup environments. I'm especially interested in Web3 and AI, where I experiment at the intersection of data, UI, and distribution.

When I'm not programming, I enjoy traveling, playing volleyball at the beach, and sharing my thoughts and creations on X.
If you're interested in my work, please feel free to check out my portfolio and contact me for your development needs.

Ohayo Labs

Ohayo Labs is a passion project where AI Anime Art meets the blockchain. Spearheading the project from conception to realization, I developed a unique collection of Anime NFT PFPs, powered by an intricately designed Solidity contract. This endeavor showcases a blend of art, AI, programming, and marketing, successfully selling out 600 NFTs and raising over 20 ETH ($60k) with over 60 ETH ($150k) in total volume.

Chimkens

Chimkens is a collaborative AI NFT project made in conjunction with Henlo. Henlo acted as the artist and marketer, while I served as the developer, building both the smart contract and the original website. We launched 999 NFTs on the Base layer 2 blockchain, raising over 7.5 ETH ($27k) in sales with over 28 ETH ($70k) in total volume.

Opensea Refund

Opensea Refund aggregates blockchain transaction data to help users reclaim lost gas fees from failed Opensea transactions. The app organizes these transactions into a clear table that can be submitted directly to Opensea's support team. Despite its utility, the app was later deprecated due to platform policy conflicts.

Web 3

I've spent years building in Web3, sorting onchain data, writing smart contracts, and leading NFT projects. I like it because things move fast. You can ship something weird, put it in front of people, and learn almost immediately if it's worth continuing.

Outside of code, I write and share insights on the space on Twitter, where I've grown an audience of 25k+ by breaking down trends and products in a practical, builder-focused way.
